Patients who have received radioactive treatment are kept in closed rooms in the hospital for a period of time. In these rooms, the liquid waste used by the patients is directed to tanks. The Primary Tank Systems require NDK’s approval under specific conditions and a certain waiting period. At treatment facilities, a minimum of 2 tanks are used per room, with the number and size of the tanks varying according to the room’s requirements. The waste tank system includes a PLC monitoring system to track the fill levels of the tanks from a distance with the help of sensors.
To ensure the proper operation and prevent any issues, the waste tank system requires periodic maintenance and monitoring. Our company provides experienced and qualified personnel for the maintenance of Iodine-131 systems across Turkey. In maintenance, we ensure minimal downtime by addressing issues quickly to ensure the system operates continuously and efficiently.
