Patient monitoring in radiotherapy services

The current activity and/or dose rate of the observed patient is periodically measured and recorded.

A detector is mounted above the patient’s bed. A NaI scintillation probe is used as the detector.

The system software calculates the expected value as a tabular date and estimates the time when the patient’s value will fall below the set threshold.

PADOS performs periodic measurements without affecting the comfort of the patient in rest.
