Flanged Jaszczak Phantoms come in four different models: the Ultra Deluxe Jaszczak Phantom for use with ultra-high spatial resolution SPECT and PET systems, the Deluxe Jaszczak Phantom for use with high to very-high spatial resolution SPECT and PET systems, the Standard Jaszczak Phantom for use with medium to high spatial resolution SPECT and PET systems, and the Benchmark Jaszczak Phantom for systems with poorer spatial resolution, larger radius-of-rotation, low cut-off reconstruction filters, and count densities mimicking clinical scans.
The Flanged Jaszczak Phantoms are used for system performance evaluation, acceptance testing, and routine quality assurance (QA). Their modular design allows for the evaluation of: spatial resolution, center-of-rotation error, uniformity, and attenuation and scatter compensation.
