High Energy Syringe Shield

This special PET Injector Shield is used to reduce the radiation dose from 511 keV energy FDG F-18 radiotracers. The shielded PET injector shield is made of 9 mm thick tungsten and features a 5.6 density lead glass window. This lead glass window allows the injector to be viewed while being shielded from radiation.
